Paintlab was born in Los Angeles in 2021, the brainchild and passion project of Karina Sulzar. Ukrainian born, Karina is a brand builder and serial entrepreneur, best known for founding Skin Gym in 2016. Originally a small-town girl from Ukraine who immigrated to the US with a big dream, Karina took a leap of faith, leaving her career in advertising and licensing before discovering that she wanted to follow her roots and start her own beauty businesses. Paintlab is the newest brand from the Skin Gym team and is a self-financed, female-owned, family business, built on hard work and passion.
